Archos unveiled Archos 5 Internet Tablet, running the Android operating system with some great GPS features to create a multi-function power-player. It features a 4.8-inch, 800 x 480 pixel resolution, LCD touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an FM receiver and transmitter.

There’s also a 3G phone’s Bluetooth connection and comes with up to 500GB of hard disk space inside, an internal Li-Ion battery offers 22 hours of music playback, and 7 hours of video. It can play back H.264 HD, MPEG-4 HD, MPEG-47, Flac, Ogg Vorbis, AAC, MP3, and numerous others. With the DVR Station, letting the Archos 5 Internet Tablet record live TV.

The Archos 5 Internet Tablet will be available in the next two weeks, starting at £199.99 for 8GB Flash device, right up to £349.99 for the 500GB hard drive version.

Sony S-series Walkman, NWZ-S544 & NWZ-S545

French retailer site, Materiel, listed the upcoming Sony S-series Walkman portable media player, namely the Walkman NWZ-S544 and the Walkman NWZ-S545. It is simplistic to call them simply Mp3 that rely on very similar specs and the memory of a double. More precisely, Sony NWZ-S544 comes with a 8GB and Sony NWZ-S545 comes with 16GB.

They both also have similar features to the screen with a QVGA 2.4-inch 16:9 LCD, integrated stereo speakers, FM radio with 30 channel pre-set, support for MP3, WMA and AAC, microphone to record voice and reading of video format H264/AVC, MP4 and WMV at 30fps. The battery lasts 42 hours in music, 6.5 video and prices start at € 129 for the 8GB model.

Microsoft Zune HD PMP

Microsoft submitted HD Zune with some official pics of the new HiTech trinket equipped with touch screen and full preparation to the use of HD content that is in High Definition. The types of CNET are also able to review via video, can be found after the jump.

Microsoft Zune HD PMP has a big 3.3-inch OLED touchscreen to display up to 480 x 272 in HD 720p manner. Which mean, as said, it could also play HD video directly on this Zune HD. Microsoft Zune also get a good HD radio receiver built in , WiFi, web browsing in full screen, accelerometer and touch QWERTY keyboard

The player is rumored to support streaming music, a “Zune Marketplace”, costs about $ 249 to provide for a model with 16 GB, an HDMI out port and perhaps arrive in September.

Creative ZEN Mozaic EZ300 PMP

Creative launches their new PMP known as the ZEN Mozaic EZ300. Adopting a 1.8-inch LCD display, a built-in speaker and microphone, an 8GB of storage and supports up to 32 hours of music playback as well as 5 hours of video playback in Japan market in the end of May.

Measuring only 79.5×40.0×12.8mm at 43g, the ZEN Mozaic EZ300 runs on Windows XP and Vista OS. Available in black color for a retail price of 7,980 Yen ($83).

New Creative Zen MX Series Portable Media Player

New Creative Zen MX series portable media player announced by Creative Japan. The new MX series features a 2.5-inch LCD display and also supports several file types including WMA, MP3, Audible 4 and video-CMV.

Two models are available, the 8GB ZN-ZMX8G-BK and 16GB ZN-ZMX16G-BK. Both player support SD/SDHC memory cards. It offers also FM radio tuner and voice recording function. The 8GB and 16GB Creative Zen MX PMPs are set to hit Japan from 5th May for 9800 Yen and 13800 Yen respectively.

Cube B52HD is a new Chinese-made portable media players with a 5 inch display touch screen and an ability to play 720p videos once the player is plugged to a HDTV. The resolution of the player’s display (480×272) for maximized viewing experience. Support for various media formats (RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, MP3, WAV, WMA, APE, FLAC, OGG).

Another features like FM radio tuner and 8GB internal memory, but unfortunately there is no slot for additional memory cards. The price for Cube B52HD around US$80.

Archos has prepared two new models Mp4 players for the market overall, Archos 2 and Archos 4. Archos 2 is the successor to the Archos 105 has a 8GB flash memory and has a refined and elegant appearance with a chrome surface. The buttons are few and well-designed for greater comfort in use while the colors are black and white. 1.8-inch screen at 128 x 160 pixels, reading MP3, WMA and WAV, AVI, JPEG. Size 84 x 51 x 9 mm 50 grams. Archos 4 will be more advanced, more portable media player as it will on a 4-inch screen and a memory 16 and 32GB.
