Samsung S8500 a.k.a Wave, the first Bada OS smartphone in the world has finally become official. The mobile platform will be the TouchWiz 3.0 UI.

The Wave measuring 118 x 56 x 10.9mm, you’ll also get the AGPS, compass and a plethora of sensors, along with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash around the back. With high resolutions in mind, the Wave will also has HD (720p) video playing & recording, 5.1ch Mobile Theater, MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV and DivX support. It will feature a 3.3-inch AMOLED display. But the Samsung is not using any ordinary AMOLED. Samsung call it the Super AMOLED screen. It is much clearer than the AMOLED screen.
The Samsung Wave S8500 comes with Exchange ActiveSync support, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, 2GB or 8GB of internal memory with support for up to 32 GB microSD card, accelerometer, proximity sensor, geo-magnetic sensor, DivX / XviD playback, and 3.5mm headset jack.
