Archos unveiled Archos 5 Internet Tablet, running the Android operating system with some great GPS features to create a multi-function power-player. It features a 4.8-inch, 800 x 480 pixel resolution, LCD touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an FM receiver and transmitter.
There’s also a 3G phone’s Bluetooth connection and comes with up to 500GB of hard disk space inside, an internal Li-Ion battery offers 22 hours of music playback, and 7 hours of video. It can play back H.264 HD, MPEG-4 HD, MPEG-47, Flac, Ogg Vorbis, AAC, MP3, and numerous others. With the DVR Station, letting the Archos 5 Internet Tablet record live TV.
The Archos 5 Internet Tablet will be available in the next two weeks, starting at £199.99 for 8GB Flash device, right up to £349.99 for the 500GB hard drive version.
