Asus W90Vp, the 18.4-inch screen, with Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixel ratio of 16:9 cinematic form, is very bright and offers an incredible color quality, the viewing angle is very wide, making it the ideal machine for watching films or gaming entertainment. The only flaw is formed by the glossy screen, which could cause discomfort to the reflexes, depending on the surroundings. The top of the screen frame incorporates a webcam from 2.0MP, which can be used for authentication through facial recognition, thanks to proprietary software SmartLogon Asus, the quality is good, even if it is a bit grainy.
The keyboard and touchpad are very large and sensitive, offering excellent tactile feedback. There are also a series of commands to touch very simple to use, among which “Turbo Gear”, responsible all’overclock automatic system. There are five different “levels” of overclocking, which increases the clock frequency of the bus, 3, 5, 10.15 or 17%, allowing to reach a clock for the CPU Intel Core 2 Duo T9800 with a frequency of 2.8GHz native amounting to well 3.28GHz. W90Vp note that Asus is not based on Intel Centrino 2 platform, and uses an Intel X38 chipset, which allows you to install up to 6GB of DDR2 RAM.

The allocation of interfaces is very large: the right side houses three USB 2.0 ports, a Firewire port, one eSATA port, the DVD recorder (there will be versions with drive combo Blu-Ray), the Multi-Card Reader, Express Card slot from 54mm, and the WiFi switch. On the left side are a USB port and the two jacks for audio, while the rear incorporates the VGA and video outputs HDMI, the RJ-11 port for the modem and RJ-45 Ethernet, and the jack for ‘AC power.
