Micro-Star International (MSI), the computer hardware manufacturer has launched an ultra-thin laptop to rival the MacBook Air. At just six millimetres at its thinnest point, and 20 millimetres at its thickest, with either a Core 2 Solo SU3500 (1.4GHz) or a Celeron 723, 2GB of RAM, 320GB of HDD or 250GB of HDD and Vista Home Premium.
The X-Slim 340 also comes with the ability to host an external high-definition Blu-ray disc drive or a DVD SuperMulti drive, has 13.4-inch display with two built-in 2.0 USB ports, HDMI, audio output, a microphone jack, a D-Sub Video Out, a LAN port, a card reader, HDMI out, Bluetooth and optional 3G plus Wimax module. X-Slim X340 would be starting at right around 875 GBP (approx. $1,275 USD).
